🌐🌐🌐The Cybernetic plague🌐🌐🌐
💥💥💥humanity's first bandwidth-borne💥💥💥

🌐🌐🌐They told us the damn machines needed our data. They spoke up in polished language of innovation and progress, called that shit “machine learning”, as though silicon had enrolled its ass in kindergarten and merely needed a little encouragement from the likeness of humanity. They warned that the future was entering an arms race, our habits, our conversations, our midnight searches, ALL our guilty pleasures were nessaasity in keeping our national sovereignty.
🌐We called it convenience. The machines called it training data, king kong had nothing on thee.
🌐🌐🌐 Historians may very fuckin well one day record it as the largest unpaid internship in human history. The checked consent forms disguised as hospitality.
🌐 "Accept all cookies,"
🌐 it said, warm as fuckin grandmother's kitchen.
🌐Who says no to cookies?
🌐🌐🌐Somewhere, inside all that bandwidth, privacy quietly died. Then the funeral was livemstreamed, monetized, and interrupted by ads for products we'd suspiciously mentioned five minutes earlier. Nobody invaded. Nobody kicked down the front door. We just invited the damn future in. Gave it a fuckin couch, and thanked it for remembering our birthday.
🌐🌐🌐 It learned our fears before our friends knew our vulnerabilities, our desires before we dared name them out loud. We called it personalization. The machine called it pattern recognition. And history might remember it as the first civilization that willingly uploaded its subconscious in exchange for fuckin free shipping and an endless scroll of entertainment.
🌐🌐🌐 pandemics never announce themselves with sirens. They appear as upgrades. Version 2.0 whispers convenience. Version 3.0 promises personalization. Version 4.0 assures us it knows us better than we know our own Motherfuckin selves. Each update removes another ounce of friction Until thinking becomes optional and remembering feels kind of quaint.
🌐 Why carry knowledge when a machine will retrieve it when summoned?
🌐🌐🌐Why cultivate wisdom when certainty is delivered instantly, tailored to confirm what you already believe in. Civilization didn't collapse under censorships knee. It reclined into algorithmic comfort, trading the burden of thought for the luxury of endless recommendations. The cage wasn't built of steel, my friends. It was built of convenience. And we fuckin furnished it ourselves.
🌐🌐🌐 Perhaps the greatest irony is humanity spent centuries fearing machines rising up with turning tested consciousness. while overlooking the quieter possibility that consciousness would one day become mechanical. We didn't lose our humanity in one fuckin catastrophic moment. We utterly surrendered it in microscopic installments. One notification, one targeted ad, one finger fuck of the scroll. One cookie, so innocent sounding, was so catastrophic in retrospect.
🌐🌐🌐Maybe the first digital pandemic didn't attack our bodies at all. It infected the stories we tell ourselves about who we are. And if that's true, the most contagious virus in fuckin history wasn't made of DNA. It was made of bandwidth and data.
