There is only a goddamn feeding mechanism. And what it fuckin feeds on is not truth, not even fuckin belief, but something far more profitable, attention under emotional pressure. The amount of pressure that turns men into pipe bombs.
💀💀💀They don’t call it that, of course they don't. They call it “content,” “media cycles,” “audience retention,” “trend velocity.” But strip away the fuckin corporate dialect and youll find the older, uglier myth underneath shit hole. something that behaves less like journalism and more like a vampire system with a marketing department. It does not sleep, exhibit A. It does not ever stop, ever. It only recalibrates its fuckin hunger.
💀💀💀 to survive centuries of disguise without discovery of their blood thristy ways. the more emotionally charged the signal, the longer the human organism stays attached to its bite. Fear holds longer than curiosity. Rage spreads faster than nuance. Shock outperforms reflection. So the system, without needing a central mastermind, evolves toward emotional intensity the fuckin way a starving animal evolves toward meat. Not evil. Not good. Just selection pressure expressed in motherfuckin headlines.
💀💀💀And here is where the metaphor begins to bite too cleanly to ignore the leaking blood.
💀💀💀Because the modern broadcast environment doesn’t merely inform reality, it distills it into bullshit consumable of a psychic extract. Psychological Wars become implimented in scrolling updates. Suffering becomes clip-length testimony to mold opinionss. Politics becomes serialized outrage of hot shit. Even joy arrives pre-packaged, optimized for shareability, stripped of silence and without ambiguity. Everything is reduced to something that can be felt quickly yet replaced as quick. Gauntlet of excellerationists fuckery, immediately sucking dry by the next stimulus.
💀💀💀 vampires in folklore do not destroy their hosts outright. They maintain them in a usable condition. Alive enough to feed on the gash again. And the modern attention economy behaves with similar vampiric tendencies. It does not seek your death. It seeks your return, repeatedly quenching its infinite parched thirst.
💀💀💀The feed must continue.as they feed on the viewers.
💀💀💀The scroll must not end. It must forever pump into the circulation
💀💀💀What makes the system feel uncanny is not that it has intent, but that it has achieved something close to a emergent appetite. a machine that preferentially selects for what keeps the human nervous system slightly destabilized but still functional enough to unnotice the effect. Alert. Reactive. Engaged. Blood letted drip-feeds just enough to remain plugged into the feedback.
💀💀💀If there is a horror hidden in this architecture, it is not that we are being lied to. Lies are fuckin simple. It is that we are being optimized, groomed to be stressed.

What you say sadly seems' to be true for the most part. I say ‘for the most part’ because I didn’t read to the end yet.
Corporate profit has accelerated given the nature of the most profitable and soul sucking product. AI.
AI presents more danger the more imbedded therefore the more successful it becomes. Irony? Like Wall Street, the better it works the worse it is for actual people. for example, if a corp fires 10s of thousand of people, Wall Street celebrates the addition to the bottom line.
There is no limit to its downside. Even the build-out, data centers, are poised to be the ruination of whole communities, communities without political clout.
I think if one takes a careful look at dominant companies from the Industrial Revolution’s and capitalism’s beginnings, one may find similarities with what we’re experiencing now. The numbers may look inconsequential by comparison, but proportionately and in societal impact they are not.

I think the internet for all its massive positives, has a dehumanizing effect. I think AI is dehumanizing by definition. I think there are no controls and government has no idea how it works. I think in the future people may be in deep trouble.
